Leveraging ReachLocal’s Google Premier Partner status we often held customer and prospect events featuring speakers from both ReachLocal and Google. I flew interstate to coordinate a number of these cocktail events, seminars and workshops in ReachLocal’s Australian offices and at the Google HQ itself. ReachLocal Internal Comms

Working as the only inhouse graphic designer at Online Marketing leaders ReachLocal meant I was the go to person for the creation of literally any type of internal communications. Over the years I have designed a huge range of collateral for sales team incentives, posters and flyers for charity events, award templates, HTML emails, and even the staff intranet on WordPress. I also redesigned the staff newsletter with the aim to increase staff engagement – the new design saw a jump in open rate from 40% to 80%! Animated E-Cards

Creating animated GIFs is a lot of fun and what better time to add a little sparkle to your email footer than at Christmas?! Each year I conceptualise a fun way to sum up the business’ products and give thanks to our clients. These e-card designs were applied to a number of different channels including printed Christmas cards, multiple sizes of e-card for emailing and attaching to signatures, and even appeared on wine canisters for a special Xmas gift!

CeBIT Trade Show

The ReachLocal stand at the CeBIT trade show.

Endorsed by the State and Federal Government, CeBIT is the world’s largest and most important business technology event. Part of Deutsche Messe, CeBIT Australia is the leading business event in the Asia Pacific Region with regular attendance by more high profile business and government decision makers than any other event in the region. In 2014 ReachLocal had a Gold Sponsorship of the WebForward Conference at CeBIT and I was tasked with coordinating our presence at the event, as well as designing the above stand graphics and collateral below.

Marketing Collateral

As part of the ReachLocal in-house marketing team I created a wide array of client facing communications, promotional flyers, infographics, HTML emails and more. After being briefed by the Digital Marketing Manager my process is to brainstorm potential design concepts and present these to the team. After the concept is chosen I will create some mock-ups and go through the approvals process until the final version of the design is complete. Click on the items below to view in more detail:

Singapore Website Launch

I was tasked with creating the project and design brief, managing key stakeholders and overseeing the creation of the ReachLocal Singapore website. I used ReachLocal product ReachEdge to create and run the site, which includes a ‘smart’ responsive website template, a lead management system and mobile app.

The main objective for this project was to design, build and maintain a ReachLocal and Webnatics co-branded ReachEdge smart website and associated lead generation campaign. The purpose of the site is to communicate how ReachLocal and Webnatics Singapore can benefit prospects. It needed to provide educational content about the ReachSearch product for prospects and clients in order to generate leads for the business. Please check it out at http://www.reachlocal.sg

Halfstar Calendar

Halfstar is street wear label that pushes the boundaries of what is socially acceptable! My brief was to create a series of artwork prints for their 2010 calendar using photography from their various shoots. I was given a lot of creative free reign on this project, so the result is something incredibly far removed from my usual corporate work!

 

Print Advertising: Cirrus Media

Cirrus Media, formerly known as Reed Business Information, ran a number of Industry focused directory websites. Briefed by the marketing team, I designed a range of print advertising, posters and flyers, whilst adhering to the strict brand guidelines of each site. The below half page and full page adverts appeared across Cirrus Media and partner publications.

Multi-Channel Campaigns

Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager we created vertical specific multi-channel campaigns in order to drive lead generation for ReachLocal. I developed the magnifying glass concept featured below, which we used across campaigns to attract Dentists and Lawyers. We created landing pages in Marketo to track leads coming through from our social and print advertising.

Mobile Challenge

The ReachLocal Mobile Challenge is a marketing initiative designed to attract small business owners who don’t currently have a mobile friendly website and who may not realise the importance of having one. After partnering with mobile website solutions company bMobilized, ReachLocal offered a 90 Day free trial of an ‘instant’ mobile website, aiming to give clients more site visits, more calls and more customers. Here is the logo and some of the other marketing pieces I designed for the promotion:

Product Launch Collateral

Product launches at ReachLocal always require an insane amount of marketing collateral, sale and process documents, presentations and communications created. The launch of ReachEdge 2.0 in early 2015 was no exception, with the Marketing and Product teams having just over a month to create email nurtures, guidebooks, sales pitches, instructional documents and more.
